FitFusion: MFit Mark Moon Fitness Cardio & Core Volume One Review


FitFusion is an online streaming workout site that has SO MANY fab workout options from instructors we know & love. FitFusion gives you JNL Fusion, Jillian Michaels, Mike Donavanik, Jennifer Galardi, Ilyse Baker, Andrea Orbeck, Zuska Light, Viveca Jensen, and SO MANY more! They offer strength workouts, cardio, cycling, ballet, yoga, pilates, dance and MORE! Seriously this is variety wider than my own DVD collection- which you know is vast. 

FitFusion: MFit Mark Moon Fitness Cardio & Core Volume OneMark Moon

Mark & team are Australian fitness professionals. You wont need any equipment for this 42 min cardio & floor core routine. There are 5 intervals, some are repeated but add in an extra challenge the second time through, a warm up & a cool down.

Exercises include: jogging, squat side to side, ham curls, knee plank tap out, Mt climbers, plank leg pulses, knee pushups, double ham curls, jacks, skater, double jog, side lying leg raises, crunches, side lying leg raises, scissor & double scissor step, squat & hop, low back work, low impact knee repeater, jump lunge pulses, criss cross jacks, oblique work. and bent knee leg drops.

This is an intermediate routine that is very straight forward, containing lots of tried & true cardio moves. No fancy choreo and keeps a steady state heart rate. Great for a day you dont want any fuss or muss- just want to burn those calories. I received this workout to review.

The company, IdealFit does sell protein powder and other supplements that can be used in the meal plans as well. I originally was going to use up a protein powder that I had on hand, but when I compared the nutrition stats to Ideal Lean protein powder I opted to purchase theirs. No carbs, no sugar, and only 80 calories. 

Each day you get SIX meals!!! So you get to eat every few hours and you get unlimited veggies from a list. I had gained a lot of weight over the past year or so and just could not get it off. I am down over 15 lbs now and just about back to my lowest weight :) using these meal plans so I am truly loving this way of eating. Tons of variety in eating and the unlimited veggies is awesome for those hungry days - Im a hungry girl lol in general so this just works for me. 
They also have a 6 week challenge that comes with a bunch of more meal plans and access to that Facebook group -where I have found a ton of meal plans substitutes created by other members. The 6 week also comes with a huge substitution list so you can really customize each meal if you get bored. I bought the 6 week when it was available with 2 tubs of protein for, maybe $80 which isnt much more than the protein tubs so it was TOTALLY worth it. I am loving the variety and am doing great with this program. 
I LOVE the Ideal Lean protein powder flavors: Pina Colada, Vanilla, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Coconut, and Caramel Mocha. I havent tried all the flavors. They also offer BCAA's and pre-workout supplements that are also good!

New Shoot: Frankie Essex Weight Loss Workouts with Lisa Nash Review

Keep reading below for a detailed review of a wonderful New Shoot DVD and stay tuned on the blog for reviews of many of their awesome workouts. Their DVDs are available in US or UK versions


Lisa Nash & Frankie Essex

This DVD has three 20 minute routines and a separate warm up & cool down. You  can play all or choose a work out from the menu. Lisa & Frankie work out on a lovely outdoor balcony that overlooks the ocean and lots of plush greenery, and I have to mention that I LOVE the ladies outfits! You will only need dumbbells for the strength routine.

HiiT: (19 min) You will perform 10 exercises 45 seconds on with 15 seconds rest with with one min rest before repeating. Exercises include criss cross jacks, wood chop low to high, elevator planks, broad jumps, skater, mt climbers, pushups, soccer kicks, squats & plyo squats, scissor shuffle, and jab cross punches.

Cardio Box: (23 min) You will do 4 rounds of 4 exercises, each for 30 seconds. Exercises include jump rope variations, jabs, hooks, upper cuts, hooks, speed bag shuffle,scissor & punch, round house kicks, punch combos, punch & ducks, punk & bob, and slips.  

Sculpting & Toning: (22 min) You alternate 2 exercises with progressive reps (1 rep, 2 reps, all the way to 10 reps each). Exercises include squat, military press, jack legs & bi curls, dead lift, front raise, rear delt fly, tri kickback, weighted butterfly crunches, and rib cage pullover. 

These are solid intermediate routines that I really enjoyed. I love the cardio routines, I somehow lack solid cardio routines in my library so these will get a TON of use. Lots of fun & unique combos. I like the progressive reps in the strength routine - I def felt the burn! Love the outdoor scenery and the girls super cute outfits. I received this DVD to review.

Fabulously Fit Moms Super Energized Workout One 
Jennifer Nicole Lee

JNL leads this 33 min step & floor cardio routine with
2 background exercisers in a living room/ studio set. You will only need a step bench for this routine.

This routine is about 50/50 floor/step. After a warm up & stretch, exercises include ham curls, step touch, skater, knees over the bench, squat pulses adding hops, repeater knees, lunge backs, basic step, step kicks, squat knees off bench, jogging, jacks, lunge & plyo lunges to the step, scissor jacks, lunge & squats over the bench, straddle step & straddle knee, and straddle run. Before a cool down & stretch you do some standing core work: oblique work, rib cage shifts and standing crunches.

This is an intermediate intensity workout with very straightforward choreo. If you are looking for a solid but easy to follow intermediate cardio workout this is for you. It was awesome to see these workouts on FitFusion as I didnt even know JNL had done DVDs before JNL Fusion (which is also on FitFusion). I received access to this workout for review purposes.
